We believe that a small act of kindness can change a person’s day, while a more significant act of kindness can change a person’s life. So, at the Law Offices of Michael J. Gopin, PLLC, we started “Giving with Gopin” to brighten the lives of everyday people across El Paso and surrounding areas.
Throughout the year, Michael J. Gopin and our team go out into the community and perform random acts of kindness. Whether it’s paying for a stranger’s meal in the drive-through line or rallying with the community to renovate a grandmother’s home, “Giving with Gopin” is about spreading kindness to others.
El Paso isn’t just where we practice law. It’s where we live, where we raise our families, and where we have chosen to call home. Our injury law firm is committed to getting involved, giving back, and serving the community in every way we can.
Can I volunteer for Giving With Gopin campaigns?
We always welcome volunteers who want to help with our Giving With Gopin campaigns. Whether you are an individual with some time to donate or a business that wants to get involved, please reach out.
We also welcome your ideas for the recipient of the next Giving With Gopin campaign.*

Our attorneys and staff have volunteered at and helped support organizations such as:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of El Paso allow young people in the community to gain exposure and experiences that increase their knowledge, health, and personal development skills. The clubs have programs in career development, sports and recreation, education, health and wellness, character and leadership, and the arts. Our team is proud to support the next generation of El Paso leaders.
Alzheimer’s is a devastating disease that can slowly rob patients and their families of their time together. The Alzheimer’s Association provides education and support to patients, caregivers, families, and health care professionals. The organization advocates for the rights and needs of people coping with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. It also supports research into prevention, treatment, and—one day—a cure.
Established in 1914, the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso serves more than 650,000 people, with 55 parishes, 20 missions, and 17 ministries. The El Paso Catholic Church has a long history of community involvement, including founding the first hospital in El Paso. Our firm is proud to support the work of this service-focused diocese.
Generation 2000, dubbed “the largest children’s fair in the Southwest,” is a day of fun-filled family activities. The festival includes an array of children’s activities, music, performances, food vendors, face painting, and other entertainment for the little ones.
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5k runs and fitness walks raise both funds and awareness for the breast cancer movement. These races help survivors celebrate life and families honor those who lost their battle with breast cancer. Our firm is a proud participant in the Race for the Cure.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is committed to improving the lives of people with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and other neuromuscular diseases. The organization works to develop innovations in care and science, funding research into promising treatments and connecting families with top-quality care throughout Texas and the rest of the country.
This is El Paso’s longest-running street festival, featuring much-anticipated headlining performers and well as great local and regional bands. The all-ages event draws a massive crowd to downtown, with families enjoying the sounds of live music, a cool car show, and delicious food.
El Paso Sun City Pride has been a leader in expressing love, support, and acceptance for all people. A champion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) rights and visibility, the organization hosts what is now a monthlong celebration of Pride in El Paso. Our firm is honored to be a part of the El Paso Sun City Pride Parade and to celebrate the strength of diversity found in our community.
The Jewish Federation of El Paso supports Jewish-oriented cultural activities, educational activities, social welfare services, and recreational programs in the community. The Federation’s work has a huge impact on the community, and our firm is a proud contributor.
